Monitoring
Pump and pipeline monitoring
Pressure in the line as well as the pump. Five year battery, a reading every 30 minutes.
Where the pump sensor tells you the pump is working, this tells you whether the water is arriving. A solid-state pressure sensor reads the line in kilopascals and reports every half hour.
The two readings together are what make a diagnosis rather than an alarm. Pump running and pressure gone means a burst or a split downstream. Pump running, pressure high and nothing arriving means a blockage. Pump stopped and pressure holding means you have a control problem, not a pipe problem.
Solid-state sensing with no moving parts, and a five year battery, which matters because the useful place to put one of these is usually the least convenient place to get to.
